Timberlake Schools

To accommodate staff and students who would like to attend the Elementary Field Day on Monday, April 29th, the JH/HS will be releasing at 12:00. Students who live in Helena or drive will be released at 12:00. Any bus rider will be transported to the Elementary. Once we arrive in Jet, Jet students are free to stay and watch or walk home. Buses will run from Jet at the conclusion of the field day. Please call the JH/HS office with any questions.

Helena Community/Timberlake School Blood Drive is Wednesday, May 1st from 2:00 - 6:00.

From the OSSAA - Due to the weather outlook across the state and the chance for severe weather along with tornadoes, we have made the tough decision to move our Class A – 4A regional track meets to Monday, April 29th. We understand that this may create some conflicts, but we felt for the safety of the student-athletes, coaches, workers, and families that this was the best decision we could make. With this being a school day, we will remain with the decision to run an all-timed finals for the running events. The field events will not change from the original schedule. Due to the projected forecast of severe weather, the 8th / 9th grade Academic Team will not be attending the State competition tomorrow at Dale. We are hopeful that this will be rescheduled and we will post any information we are given. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but as always we feel that the safety of our students should come first.

The Kindergarten class had some special visitors today for their Grandparent Tea.

Congratulations to the 5th & 6th grade track teams on a great season. Besides 2 field days, they completed their season yesterday at Covington. The girls team WON the meet and the boys team brought home 2nd.

Friday, April 26 - We are IN SCHOOL! Monday - Little Tiger Olympics - Start time 12:00 pm Tuesday - Jessie Mary Reinhart Track Meet @ Cherokee for 1st-6th graders - Field events begin at 9:00 am. Running events will begin after completion of the field events. Our buses will run at the conclusion of the track meet.

JH/HS Cherokee Strip Conference Meet results from Monday, April 22nd. HS Boys finished in 2nd place, JH Boys finished in 3rd place, HS Girls finished in 5th place, & JH Girls finished in 3rd place.

FCCLA Awards Banquet is this evening at 6:30.

Prom is tonight @ the Red Brick. The public is invited to the parade of cars and prom walk. (Please do not park on the street in front of the Red Brick)

The district baseball games have been moved up to 1:00 at Lomega tomorrow. 2nd game will start immediately following game 1 if Timberlake wins. The HS track meet at Cherokee on Saturday has been canceled. Conference JH/HS track meet at Ringwood is scheduled for Monday.

The FCCLA Awards Banquet will be held on Tuesday night, April 23rd at 6:30 at the multi-purpose building in Helena.
