The 2025 Timberlake Tiger football season is quickly approaching. Their first scrimmage is this Thursday, August 21st, against the Laverne Tigers and the Okeene Whippets. The scrimmage will take place in Jet at the elementary football field. Oklahoma 8-man Coaches Hall of Fame Inductee, Coach Brian Severin, stated, “We should have a really good year. We have several returning starters and a great group of juniors and seniors. This is going to be a very exciting and special year.” Severin also says he thinks the Tyrone Bobcats are going to be the Tigers toughest opponent. The team’s main goal this year is to play in the state championship game for the fourth time in five years. Join the Tigers at Jet on Thursday to see what this year’s team has in store. If you plan on attending the scrimmage, Coach Severin asks that in place of admission to donate a case of water or Gatorade.
