Nearly two weeks of school have passed and students are getting back into the swing of things. I interviewed students and teachers to get their perspective on the new year.
Payton Pierce, Senior:
Q- “How's your schedule this year compared to previous years?”
A- “It's not the best but also not the worst. You know in previous years, I usually had about 6 or 7 classes, but this year I’m not as busy.”
Kaidy Watkins, Senior:
Q- “What do you think your favorite class will be this year?”
A- “Web Design.”
Gunnar Finney, Junior:
Q- “What are you looking forward to this year?”
A- “It’s one year closer to graduation."
Westyn Jackson, Soph.:
Q- “What’s been your favorite thing about school so far?”
A- “Football. It’s been a lot of fun so far and I’m excited for the season.”
Brody Wallace, Fresh.:
Q- “What’s your favorite meal the cafeteria has served so far?”
A- “”Pigs in a blanket, but my favorite thing is when we have cinnamon rolls.”
Joplin VanOsdol, 8th Grade:
Q- “What was your favorite thing about the first week of school?”
A- “No work. Just getting class rules and syllabuses.”
Taylynn Shepard, 7th Grade:
Q- "What do you think your favorite class will be this year?”
A- “Ag Class, because I like animals and I will also show chickens and sheep. “
Mrs. Gaff, Teacher:
Q- “What are you looking forward to this year?”
A- Working with my new classes, creating this year’s yearbook with the new staff, and cheering students on in their extracurricular activities.”
With that being said, the high school football team plays their first game at Cherokee tonight at 7:00 pm. Be there, be supportive, be loud!
