The Miss Timberlake pageant is quickly approaching, and the contestants have been busy preparing and practicing for the event. For this week’s news article, I briefly interviewed the contestants.
Q- “What made you want to enter the Miss Timberlake pageant?”
Brooke Bowers: “I am entering this pageant because I see it as an opportunity to grow personally while representing my school and community with pride. Through this experience, I hope to build confidence, strengthen my leadership skills, and create lasting memories. Most importantly, I want to use my voice and actions to inspire younger students—showing them that hard work, kindness, and determination can open doors to new opportunities.”
Q- “How would winning Miss Timberlake impact your future plans?”
Jayla Moore: “If I were to win Miss Timberlake, even though I am not attending Northwestern, it would be a great accomplishment and I would proudly represent Timberlake.”
Q- “What are you most looking forward to during the pageant?”
Henzley Thomas: “I can't wait to grow my confidence and showcase the hard work I've put into preparing for this moment, but I am also super excited to make a new memory!”
Q- “What would it mean to you to win the title of Miss Timberlake?”
Amiah Ross: “Considering the fact that I put my all into everything I participate in, it would fulfill a goal I have set for myself. It would truly be an honor and blessing to represent our community by winning this title!”
The Miss Timberlake Pageant will take place September 30th at 7pm. The winner will be crowned based off of their combined score in interview, talent, and evening gown. She will also represent Timberlake at the Miss Cinderella Pageant held on October 23-25. The contestant competing in Miss Cinderella will receive a tuition scholarship to Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva to be used her freshman year.
Make plans to attend the pageant on September 30th to watch Brooke, Amiah, Jayla, and Henzley compete for the crown of Miss Timberlake.
