Last week, Timberlake’s own Henzley Thomas got the opportunity to compete in the 2025 Miss Cinderella Pageant. Though she did not win the crown, she was recognized as the pageant’s Miss Congeniality. This title is a tremendous honor that she should be immensely proud of. Henzley was awarded this title by the voting of her peers because of her friendly and thoughtful personality. For this week’s article I asked her a few questions about the Miss Cinderella Pageant and her personal experience. Congratulations Henzley!
"How was your experience competing in Miss Cinderella this year?"
Participating in Miss Cinderella this year was an incredible highlight of my senior year. Although I felt a bit anxious at first, the welcoming environment and support from everyone really helped. I grew so much from the experience, and making lasting memories with so many amazing people was truly so special to me!
"What was your favorite part of the pageant?"
My favorite part was definitely building new friendships with the other contestants. Spending time backstage and encouraging one another made the experience unforgettable. I also appreciated the opportunity to showcase my talents on stage and take pride in what I worked hard to achieve.
"What advice would you give the future contestants of Miss Timberlake and Miss Cinderella?"
To future competitors, I encourage you to approach every opportunity with a sense of curiosity and openness. Prioritize building meaningful bonds, being a positive influence, and supporting each other to build strong relationships, which will mean more than who takes the crown. Always be sincere, take lots of photos, and hold close the special moments that come your way!
