Starting this week, baseball season is officially in full swing! I asked each senior on the team and the head coach for a brief quote about the season. The boys have an optimistic outlook for their final seasons and have high expectations for their team. The baseball team has a packed schedule, including a game against Dover at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on March 12 at 7 PM.

“I’m excited about this season. There are some obstacles we will have to overcome early. Those obstacles will be cutting down our free bases from a year ago. Whether that be walks, passed balls, stolen bases, etc., get that cleaned up. I like our ability to compete, and this team does a good job of striking the ball. If we can do those things, then we should make a deep run in the postseason.”
