Congratulations to Caleb Barney, Kayla Cotton, Christopher Diller, Karson Shepard and Nicholas Smith for the following honors. Caleb was selected to play in the K101 Football game in Woodward on Saturday 5/31. Kayla was selected to play in the K101 FastPitch game in Woodward on Wednesday 5/28 and also the Basketball game on Tuesday 5/27. Christopher was selected to play in the K101 Baseball game in Woodward on Monday 5/26. He was also selected to play in the NWOBCA All Star Game @NWOSU on May 22nd. The game will be at 4:00 pm followed by an awards ceremony at 6:00. Karson was selected to play in the K101 Football game in Woodward on Saturday 5/31. Nicholas was selected to play in the K101 Basketball game in Woodward on Thursday 5/29.

With end of year banquets happening, the multipurpose building will be off limits starting today through May 19th.
With the JMR track meet being cancelled lunch at the elementary will be peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with sides. If you put that you were bringing a lunch from home, you can still eat the school lunch.
Come support FCCLA at their Banquet on Thursday, May 8th! The meal will be a pasta bar that is by donation and begins at 6:00. The awards portion will begin at 6:30.
Due to forecasted rain tomorrow, the elementary track meet at Cherokee has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Tomorrow will be a normal school day at both sites.

Seminole State asked me to remind all teams that gum, sunflower seeds, and peanuts are not permitted in the complex or in the dugouts or on the fields.
Congratulations to the baseball boys for moving on to day 2 of regionals. With all the rain that Asher has received and the additional rainfall expected overnight, tomorrow's regional tournament games have
been moved to Seminole. Seminole State College has games at 1:00 & 3:30, so our games are scheduled for 6:00 & 8:30 pm. We encourage fans to be there by 5:30 because we could potentially start early.
To hopefully help with questions about next week, here is the info that was shared with all of the JH/HS students this morning. On Monday, we will release after JH Lunch at 12:47. Students are free to leave at that time. Any bus riders or students needing to meet parents in Jet will be bussed to Jet for the Field Day. Buses will run from Jet at the conclusion of the meet. As always, if students choose to check out before 12:47, they will be counted absent. For Tuesday, students who wish to go watch siblings, will be counted absent, but those absences will not count toward their semester tests. If your student plans to go, please call and notify the office so we know how to mark the absence. Tuesday will be a normal school day at the JH/HS. If you have other questions, do not hesitate to call the JH/HS office.
