JH Basketball teams are finishing up the Medford JH Tournament today. Girls will play at 3:10 and boys at 4:20. Games may be running as early as 30 minutes ahead of time. Good Luck!

The HS basketball games with Canton will be played this Saturday with the girls game tipping at 2:00 pm to be followed by the boys in Helena. Reminder: Homecoming Friday night vs Aline-Cleo. JH games start at 4:00 followed by coronation at approximately 6:00, then the HS games beginning at 6:30. We hope to have a big crowds Friday and Saturday to come root on our Tigers and Lady Tigers!

It's Homecoming Week! The theme for the week is "Once Upon a Time". Although we missed Monday, there are still four more days to show your Tiger Pride!
Basketball homecoming will take place on Friday, with the Coronation beginning at 6:15. The Senior King Candidates are Conner Severin, Paxton Glenn, and Payton Pierce. The Queen Candidates are Henzley Thomas, Brooke Bowers, and Amiah Ross. The Flower Girl and Crown Bearer will be Remington Bell and Sawyer Spade.

The Sophomore Class is extending their Valentine Sale to Thursday!

Send your sweet student a Valentine to their school, and you'll also support the Class of 2028! Please have orders turned in by Thursday, January 29th. See the attached flyer for details.

Cimarron has cancelled school and activities for tomorrow so HS basketball games with Cimarron have been postponed. We will, however, be making up the consolation boys game from the Cherokee Strip tournament with Cherokee tomorrow at Helena. AEC has graciously offered to pick up the cost so entry will be free. JV will play a partial game at 5:30 to be followed by the varsity game at 6:00. This will be a boys game only since the girls were able to get all of their tournament games in. We are also coordinating with Canton and officials to make up games from last night. Those games will be played this Saturday at Helena. Start time will be shared later in the week once we are able to secure officials.

Classes and bus routes will start 1 hour late tomorrow to allow routes to start in daylight. We encourage parents to send young drivers on buses or bring them if you have any concerns with roads in your area. Highways are currently in great shape throughout the district but local and county roads are still partially snow packed but safe at reasonable speeds. Please unload JH and HS students by the main office as the north end will be icy as it gets no direct sunlight. Please be in contact with your route driver if there are issues with roads in your immediate area. Roads will be checked again early in the morning. If changes are necessary, they will be made and shared by 6:30.

Timberlake Public Schools will be taking a snow day and all activities have been cancelled for tomorrow. We will wait to reschedule events until we are back in school and will share details as soon as they are available. The 5/6 basketball games scheduled for Wednesday with Okeene have also been cancelled to allow Okeene to finish their HS tournament from last week.

Congratulations to the Lady Tigers on their 3rd place finish in the Cherokee Strip Conference Tournament!

Due to the predicted timing of incoming weather, it has been decided to postpone the Timberlake BOYS consolation game vs Cherokee tonight. The GIRLS will still play their game at 12:40. The plan is to reschedule the boys game on a date to be determined. We believe the issues with Skordle have been resolved so the plan is to stream the girls game at timberlaketigers.tv

The 5/6 grade Regional Academic Meet that was originally scheduled for Sat. Jan. 24th has been postponed until Feb. 7th.

With the incoming weather, coaches and administrators have decided to go ahead and play the 3rd round of the Cherokee Strip Tournament tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 23. The schedule will be as follows: Championships 10:00am and 11:20am, 3rd Place 12:40pm and 2:00pm, and Consolation 3:20pm and 4:40pm. There will not be any 7th/8th Place games. With the boys win today, they will play at 4:40pm. The girls gametime will depend upon the result of tonight's game.

Some glasses have been found on the HS campus. If you know who they belong to, please let Mrs. Burkes in the HS office know .

The Cherokee Strip Tournament kicks off today with the Lady Tigers playing Burlington at 3:20 PM. The boys will follow with their game against Medford at 4:40 PM.

💕Junior High and High School students will participate in creating Valentine's Day Blessing Bags to hand out to elderly members in the Timberlake Community. Help us share some love by donating individual prepackaged food items such as: Chips, crackers, cookies, snack bars, apples, oranges, etc. 💕

Items are due to Mrs. Pecha or Mrs. Gaff by Feb. 6th.
This project is a "Buy Back" opportunity for students working towards semester test exemption.
