Ms. Rogers’ 5th grade class brought science to life! As part of their study on plant and animal cells, students created detailed cell models using cake and candy. Each sweet structure featured creative candy representations of cell parts like the nucleus, mitochondria, and cell membrane. Not only did the students learn about the functions of different organelles, but they also had a blast turning science into an edible masterpiece. It was a fun and flavorful way to explore science!
