Main Street in Helena is being resurfaced today and work will include the street to the east of our main entrance all the way to the corner at the north end of our main HS building. Parents and visitors will have to access the parking lot between the gym and HS building by using 7th St. and Hinkley St. which are to the north and west of our gym. Please park between the gym and HS building and you will still have to access the HS from the main entrance on the east side. Sorry for the inconvenience, they plan to finish today.
Join us for a 5th & 6th grade game today at 12:30 as we host Cherokee. Come early and and play Ping Pong Ball Throw to help support After Prom. Games will be streamed on timberlaketigers.tv.

Tomorrow's JH/HS picture day has been rescheduled for Friday, Jan. 17th due to the change in the basketball tournament schedule.
Monday, Jan. 13th is the final day of the Oil Center Classic. Due to a scheduling conflict with another school the consolation games will be at 10 and 11:20 followed by the 7th place games.
The Lady Tigers will play at 10:00 am for consolation and the Tigers will play at 4:40 pm for 3rd. Good luck to both teams and we hope you bring home some hardware!

Congratulations to all of the powerlifters that competed in their first meet of the year on Thursday! The following HS lifters medaled but they are not pictured; Gage Madden, DJ Lauppe, and Cashius Korbel.

Timberlake schools will be closed tomorrow due to road conditions that are unlikely to improve overnight. We hope making the call tonight will help parents plan for kids being home tomorrow.
Woodward has moved the basketball tournament to a Saturday Monday schedule with top seeds moving to the right side of the bracket.
The Timberlake district is considering some changes to our administrative and site structures for the 2025-2026 school year that are 100% budget driven. Declining revenue from property tax protests by big energy companies, declining revenue from oil & gas production, and unfunded state mandates along with increasing costs due to inflation have led us to consider steps to operate within a more sustainable budget. We would like to provide opportunities for our stakeholders to provide input on 2 steps that we are considering. The first is to consolidate administrative positions as Mr. Hickman has informed the district that he will be stepping away from his principal position at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. The second is to move grades 5 and 6 to Helena beginning next school year. We are sharing these thoughts very early in the planning process to allow for necessary input. These changes will both be discussed at our February and March board meeting before making any definitive decisions. Those discussions are both open to the public and an open forum will be included in the agendas to allow for Timberlake community members to provide input. More detailed information about these plans and meetings have been provided on the Timberlake website at https://5il.co/34l4q and will continue to be updated as plans come together. The information provided through this link should answer a lot of questions or concerns but please don't hesitate to reach out to the school for any that might be unanswered.
The basketball bus has turned around and will be home before buses run. Roads are deteriorating between here and Woodward. No games today and we will update about tomorrow and Saturday.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers are back in action today through Saturday in Woodward at the Oil Center Classic. Tigers tipff at 2:00 and the Lady Tigers will follow at 3:20.
