On Monday, we ask that everyone stay for the conclusion of the Timberlake track meet for a special event that Coach Johnson has planned.

Seminole State asked me to remind all teams that gum, sunflower seeds, and peanuts are not permitted in the complex or in the dugouts or on the fields.
Congratulations to the baseball boys for moving on to day 2 of regionals. With all the rain that Asher has received and the additional rainfall expected overnight, tomorrow's regional tournament games have
been moved to Seminole. Seminole State College has games at 1:00 & 3:30, so our games are scheduled for 6:00 & 8:30 pm. We encourage fans to be there by 5:30 because we could potentially start early.
To hopefully help with questions about next week, here is the info that was shared with all of the JH/HS students this morning. On Monday, we will release after JH Lunch at 12:47. Students are free to leave at that time. Any bus riders or students needing to meet parents in Jet will be bussed to Jet for the Field Day. Buses will run from Jet at the conclusion of the meet. As always, if students choose to check out before 12:47, they will be counted absent. For Tuesday, students who wish to go watch siblings, will be counted absent, but those absences will not count toward their semester tests. If your student plans to go, please call and notify the office so we know how to mark the absence. Tuesday will be a normal school day at the JH/HS. If you have other questions, do not hesitate to call the JH/HS office.

Congratulations to the JH Stock Market Team for winning their division in the Stock Market Game. They competed for 12 weeks against other 4th-8th grade teams from across the state. This week Mr. Dayton took these 8th graders to the OKC Branch of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank where they were honored for their achievement. To cap off the day, they stopped by the OKC Memorial. Team members pictured from L to R: Blakely Riggs, Lane Lansdown, Paxton Wiseman, Lilyana Lauppe, and Justin Streich. Other team members included: Addyson Dunavant, Bobby Dale Perryman, Chance Velazquez, Chance Young, Ethan Dayton, Holly Hickman, Maddie Hollenbeck, and Kaylynn Redman.
Venue change!! Due to heavy rains in southeastern Oklahoma, Thursday's baseball games have been moved to Seminole State College. Game times for Thursday have not changed. There are plans in the works to move Friday's games to Seminole as well. Game times for Friday are still to be determined.
To accommodate teachers and siblings of elementary students, the JH/HS will be releasing at the end of lunch on Monday, May 5th. This will allow those that want to to attend the Elem. Field Day to do so. Any students that ride a bus or need to meet parents at the elementary, will be transported to Jet. Any students that choose to check out prior to lunch, will be counted absent as always. If you have any questions, please call the JH/HS office.

Congratulations to the 8/9th academic team and their coach Rhonda Sanders. They traveled to the state meet today in Dale and finished in the top 6! Team members are Bodey Thomas, Paige Redman, Sadler Greb, Jonathan Barney, Paisley Shepherd, Jude Vassar, and Paxton Wiseman.
