Champion crowned! 🎉 Congrats to 2026 Spelling Bee winner Rhett Wallace — and hats off to runner-up Holly Hickman for an incredible performance today. 🏆✨

So much fun in 6th grade science this week. 🦉🔬 There’s nothing quite like the excitement (and a few “ewwws!” 😆) that come with dissecting owl pellets! What looks like a little ball of fur turned into a full-on science investigation. 6th graders became real scientists, carefully pulling apart pellets and sorting bones. Next, they will be identifying skulls and figuring out what their owl had for dinner. They will also learn; • How to classify and identify small mammals using bone structures • The importance of careful observation and data recording • That science is hands-on, messy, and FUN!

Reminder - Tuesday, March 3rd - JH/HS - wear your Chapter FFA shirts

Elementary - wear crazy socks, bring a blanket for D.E.A.R time!

This week the JH/HS will be celebrating National FFA week. Monday's theme is to wear blue and gold!

This week at the elementary, we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss and participating in Read Across America week. Monday is wear as many colors as you can as well as wear a crazy hat. Also each day the students will get to have D.E.A.R time where they "drop everything and read." To make that time more enjoyable for students they can bring items each day to read with. Monday they are able to bring a stuffed animal.

🚨⚾️The JH baseball game for Monday, March 2nd has been moved to Helena due to a water leak at the Covington baseball field. The game time has been changed from 4:30 to 4:45. Go Tigers!

With the conclusion of this basketball season, Brooke Bowers has officially eclipsed 500 career rebounds in her high school basketball career! 🏀💪

She will sign a letter of intent to compete in Women's Track & Field at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. The signing ceremony will take place tomorrow (Wednesday Feb. 25) at 1:30 PM in the High School Auditorium.
