As we approach the end of the first quarter of the school year here at the junior high and high school, I would like to bring a few things to your attention.
First, we are hosting Parent-Teacher Conferences Wednesday, from 4:00-7:00, and Thursday, from 8:00-11:00. Conferences at the JH/HS will be on a first come, first served basis. Second, we will be observing Fall Break this Thursday, October 15 through Monday October 19. Students and staff will have a well deserved 5 day break! Lastly, our football game this week is an afternoon game at Buffalo on Thursday. Kickoff is at 2:00
We have had a great start to the semester and are expecting it to continue. Thank you for all the support you give to Timberlake Public Schools!

Parking construction is going to slightly impact parking for the football game and homecoming activities for this evening. Roughly half of the main lot has been completed but has not been marked. Spectators can now park along the cable west of the field near the south end zone. Please do your best to park where spots have always been while leaving room for people to circle through the lot behind those that park along the cable. The unfinished part of the lot is coned off but can be utilized tonight. There is a gap in the cones next to the fence on the south end. That will be the entry and exit point for that portion of the lot. Please do not block that access point, block people in, or block access back to the exit. Work at Helena should be completed next week. We appreciate your patience in the meantime. Routes will continue as they have the last couple of days. We will share adjustments to those plans over the weekend to avoid work early next week.

October is Fire Safety Month, and we were excited to welcome Jon Nichols and Luke Wood from the Goltry Fire Department to visit our KG, PK, and Daycare classes!🔥🚒
Our students learned important ways to stay safe around fire, got to see a firefighter in full gear, heard about the various types of calls firefighters respond to, and even had the opportunity to work the fire hose!
Mrs. Redman was even recruited to join the fire crew!
A BIG thank you to Jon, Luke, and all of our local firefighters for all they do within the Timberlake community!❤️🚒
