JH & HS Softball has been cancelled for this evening due to weather. 5-8 football has been cancelled due to weather. Both schools are working to find a date to reschedule.

High School Picture Day is Thursday, September 14. Senior Portratis, School Portraits, Cross Country, JH & HS Football, HS Softball, and JH & HS Cheer Pictures will be taken. Timberlake FFA students paired up with some students from Timberlake and other schools in Alfalfa county for the Star Show that took place at the Alfalfa County Fall Fair.

Hearing and vision screenings for ALL students will be taking place on Monday and Tuesday. Permission forms were sent home with all students this week and are due on Monday. If the form did not make it home, you can access it at the following link: https://5il.co/24by7

5-8 football games scheduled for Monday, September 11th are going to have to be moved to Helena due to our ongoing lighting issues. Those are scheduled to be resolved next Thursday so we plan to play remaining games as scheduled.

Congratulations to the August elementary Students of the Month. Kindergarten - Zeppelin Zimbelman, 1st - Baylor Troutt, 2nd - Gabe Aguillon, 3rd - Lenny Thomas, 4th - Slaid Green, 5th - Katie Hollenbeck, 6th - Charlotte McNary and Caylin Spangler. Thank you to Sonic in Cherokee for donating t-shirts, $10 sonic bucks and bendy pencils for all of our students who get Student of the Month.

Timberlake JH Tournament Bracket for Sept. 14th & 15th. Thursday's games will be played in Helena and Jet. Friday's games will be played in Helena only. There will be concession stands available at both sites.

As a reminder, JH and HS Softball will both play at home against OBA. JH will start at 4:00. There will not be a concession stand at the softball games. 5th -8th Football will play at the HS starting at 5:30. Come support the Tigers!!

This weeks football theme is neon! The Tigers travel to Waukomis on Friday for a 7:00 kickoff.

Don't forget tonight is Meet the Tigers at 6:00. Coaches have informed teams what time to be there!

Just a reminder that admission prices have changed for the '23-'24 school year. Timberlake JH/HS students will be admitted free. Timberlake Elementary students will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. All others will be charged $5, regardless of age. All Sports passes are still available for purchase and will be throughout the school year.

Football shirt order forms are out today! Orders are due Wed, Sept 6th. Cindy will have some at the game tonight.

Due to some electrical issues related to our football field lights in Jet, the 5-8 games scheduled for Tuesday, September 5th will be moved to Helena. These issues were found by our electrician today while he was exploring options of upgrading our current lighting. This will accelerate that project with plans of playing all other games at Jet while replacing all fixtures throughout the course of the season. Sorry for the inconvenience but we look forward to those upgrades to our football facility.
