The Senior Class Valentine Fundraiser is going on. Forms were sent home with all elementary students, if you would like to send a Valentine treat to a student in 7-12, forms are available in the HS office or you can email your order to kpecha@tlake.k12.ok.us. What an exciting morning at Timberlake Elementary! We had special visitors from Vance Air Force Base in Enid. ✈️ They enjoyed delicious donuts at PTO's Pastries with People breakfast then spent time in our classrooms interacting with students and even took on some 6th-grade math! 📚🧮 What a fantastic opportunity for our kids to learn from real-life heroes.

The JH basketball teams travel to Medford today for the 1st round of the tournament. The girls will face Cherokee at 12:50 and the boys face Burlington at 2:00.

Kent Chesser, a retired H.S. history teacher came to visit the 6th grade today. Mr. Chesser’s father, Dempsey Chesser, was in WWII and served as military police for the United States Army. His troop followed General MacArthur and was also responsible for guarding bridges and helping with the cleanup of the war including concentration camps. Mr. Chesser brought artifacts from WWII and recounts of history as told from his father. The 6th grade has learned greatly from this unit and appreciates Mr. Chesser for sharing real life accounts of WWII.
