HS Baseball update for Cherokee Strip Conference Tournament. Games are canceled tomorrow due to weather conditions. Tomorrow's matchups would have been the following: Timberlake vs KH (Championship); Lomega vs Waynoka (3rd place); Okeene vs Medford (Consolation); Cherokee vs Ringwood/AC. Games will be played as matchups as they are possible.
Jh boys just finished their season after 4 of our boys participated in the state meet. Jaxen Judd, Chance Young, Paxton Wiseman, & Brody Wallace All of the jh boys did well this season and improved every meet. Congratulations boys!

Mrs. Gwinn's mom, Nadine Painton, visited the sophomore class and talked to the students about the Great Depression as the sophomores plan to begin studying To Kill a Mockingbird.
Student release at the end of the day will go as follows:
3:00-Helena walkers will be released while ALL route riders load vehicles
3:05-ALL routes will leave Helena
3:10-Parent pickup at Helena (Please stay in vehicles and wait on routes to leave. We will not release parent pickup students until route vehicles clear out lots)
3:15-3:20-Parent pickup at Jet (Normal location and procedures)
HS Drivers will be released after parent pickup in Helena
Parent-Teacher Conferences, Book Fair, and the Board Meeting in Jet will all go on as scheduled. It's still not clear if water will be back on by then so please plan ahead and try to avoid needing to use restroom facilities at Jet if possible.
Please share your appreciation for our staff when you get the chance. They have been absolute rock stars by being flexible and willing to help others as we've worked through this unusual week. Spring break has been well earned. Timberlake is also extremely appreciative of the churches and patrons that have helped us through this week.
Reminder - Concurrent Enrollment Meeting tonight March 12th @ 6:00 pm. Parent Teacher Conferences also tonight from 4:00 - 7:00 and tomorrow from 8:00 - 11:00.
We've been informed that there is no water in Jet. This came too late to cancel school but we do have contingency plans in place to use churches in Helena for our elementary classes. If you have elementary students that don't handle change well and you have the means to keep them home, you do have that option. Otherwise, we will have class today and make the most out of the situation. Students will go to Jet for breakfast so students and teachers can gather everything they need for the day.

Baseball & Softabll Game Day
The Timberlake Summer Food Program will be partnering with the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank again to provide free breakfast and lunch over the summer for all children 18 years of age and younger in the Timberlake School District whether or not they attend Timberlake. There is no need for income verification. There are some changes that are outside our control when it comes to getting food to families so please complete this survey if you are interested in receiving meals or volunteering to help with this program. Cheer tryouts for today will take place in Helena due to the water main break in Jet. Dismissal times will be the same but students will need to be picked up from the Helena gym. Results will be posted slightly later after sponsors can get back to their classrooms to post. Thanks for your flexibility and patience, this is completely out of our control.
Jet is experiencing a water outage that will not be resolved until this evening. We were able to get through lunch, but will be making the following changes due to the lack of restroom facilities. Elementary students will be bussed to Helena shortly to finish out their school day. Buses will depart Helena in order to keep route schedules similar but expect minor variations. Students that are normally picked up at Jet will be there to be picked up at 3:15 exactly as they are now. Students that are picked up in Helena can be picked up at 3:15 in front of the HS gymnasium. Please enter campus from the south and pull up in a pickup line facing west in front of the gym to pick up your children. This will eliminate traffic issues for HS bus routes or student drivers that leave at 3:30.

Late update for the girls team- Jayla Moore competed at the regional meet back in February 25th. Proud of her for her work she put in this season.
The HS boys team competed at the regional meet today. They all worked hard and did a great job.

Cashius Korbel got a medal for 5th place in the 220 lb weight class. He is a State Qualifier. He will get to go compete in the State Meet next weekend.
